Attorney Profile

Karen Flanzenbaum is an Associate Attorney with the BFSNG Law Group, LLP, having joined the firm in January of 2025.  Ms. Flanzenbaum is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where she received her undergraduate degree.  She attended law school at the Northwestern University, Pritzker School of Law where she received her Juris Doctor in 1993.  Ms. Flanzenbaum has practiced in the area of Trusts and Estates and Elder Law and Special Needs for more than 20 years. 

Ms. Flanzenbaum establish herself as a sole-practitioner but formed close working relationships with various Long Island firms who entrusted their work to her firm, all before bringing her practice and expertise in Trusts and Estates and Elder Law and Special Needs to the BFSNG Law Group, LLP.

Ms. Flanzenbaum has served on the general board of the Huntington Jewish Center and the endowment board of the Huntington Jewish Center and is currently on the Family Service League Huntington Interfaith Homeless Initiative board, serving the area’s homeless.

Ms. Flanzenbaum is a provider of compassionate counsel and assistance to families in connection with a complex range of legal issues.  She lives on Long Island with her husband.
