Maryanne Buatti is a partner in Berger, Fischoff, Shumer, Wexler & Goodman, LLPs, real estate department and has over thirty years of experience in real estate and mortgage financing. Her primary focus is in representation of institutional and private lenders, including acquisition lending, construction financing, bridge loans, secondary mortgage market assignments and loan modifications. Ms. Buatti also has extensive experience representing buyers and sellers of residential property, co-operative units and condominiums.
Ms. Buatti participates in the mentoring program of the Nassau County Bar Association in conjunction with the Mentoring Partnership of Long Island. She finds this program, mentoring at-risk middle school children, to be immensely beneficial to all the participants. Ms. Buatti has also served as Parish Trustee and Finance Committee Member of the Maria Regina R.C. Church in Seaford, New York and currently serves as an elected board member of the Mystic Woods Home Owners Association in Bay Shore, New York.
Ms. Buatti joined Berger, Fischoff, Shumer, Wexler & Goodman, LLP in 2018 after a partnership of 15 years and an association of more than 30 years with firm partner, Joel Wexler.
Ms. Buatti earned her Juris Doctor, with distinction, from Hofstra University School of Law, her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from St. John’s University and is admitted to practice in the state of New York. She is also a member of the Nassau County and New York State Bar Associations and is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association Real Property Law Committee.
Ms. Buatti makes her home in Suffolk County and enjoys being an active member of the community.
